BAD TUNER CAUGHT UP

‘caught up’ is the latest single from Brooklyn-based DJ and producer, bad tuner. It’s a minimalistic cut that takes a single, disco-inspired phrase and turns into a four-minute dance floor filler, complete with choppy-yet-catchy vocals. The shuffling hi-hat groove takes us into a world of lo-fi house, while the syncopated guitars above could’ve been played by Nile Rodgers himself. bad tuner’s new EP, Look At Me But Through Me, is a showcase of his unique style. The six tracks wander from the minimalistic Daft Punk inspiration of this one, through a powerful, poppy Kylie Minogue-esque sound, and into something The Prodigy would be proud of. Check it out now. -Dan Peeke
